The Promise

Auditori de Manacor, Passeig del Ferrocarril / Carrer de Tarragona, 07500 Manacor, Balearic Islands

Five friends get together for a 1990s-themed night and reminisce about the beginnings of their friendship, when they all went to the Scouts together. The party is a success, but what was meant to be a night of fun and nostalgia changes radically when Paula, the organiser, confesses that the wine they have been drinking is poisoned. Why did she do it? Why has she drunk some too? What else does Paula have in store for that night? What begins as a macabre joke becomes a countdown, as Paula has devised an outlandish and twisted plan.

A contemporary satire about happiness, greed and how childhood memories become a devastating mirror.
