Bel Fullana - «Club Miseria: The last beat»

Temporary exhibition

Club Miseria: The Last Beat is a new activation of the Club Miseria project, conceived by Bel Fullana and originally presented at Casal Solleric in 2019. That first version transformed the exhibition space into a kind of synthetic, dysfunctional and acidic club, infused with sound, green neon lights, digital aesthetics, rave culture, humour, excess and a visual energy close to the imagery of energy drinks, post-internet culture and the night.

This new appearance does not reconstruct that club, but invokes it from another place: as a vestige, a signal and a last beat. The project unfolds at Casal Solleric through an archaeological capsule visible from the Born, an acid-green light intervention and a monumental inflatable sculpture installed in the courtyard, which acts as the central body of the proposal.

During Nit de l’Art 2026, the courtyard will be activated by two performative DJ sets by Virgen María and Oro Jondo, in a hybrid format between club and contemporary art. In this context, the dance floor also appears as a political tool: a place to meet, occupy space, share energy and generate other forms of community. This is neither a conventional party nor an exhibition in the usual sense, but an open experience in which the public can stay, move around, listen, look or let themselves be carried away by the atmosphere.

Club Miseria: The Last Beat turns Casal Solleric into a powerful architecture: a club without a dark room, a shared fiction, a green signal returning to launch its last beat as a collective, expansive and living energy.
