The women who worked at the “Las Perlas” factory dedicated their youth, effort and craft and industrial knowledge to a job that set the pace of an entire town.

Perla is a tribute to these anonymous women who, from a very young age, helped support their families and forged strong bonds of friendship and community. Today, their granddaughters recover their memories, photographs and voices in order to preserve the memory of a generation that is part of Mallorca’s history.
