Gota — By Txema Muñoz

Teatre Principal — Sala Petita - Polivalent, Carrer de la Riera, 2, 07003 Palma, Illes Balears

A delicate, absurd and poetic piece that combines clowning and wordless magic with great sensitivity.

The water that does not fall from the sky. Beneath a roof of clouds, a bucket on the street collects the water that does not fall from the sky. The rain has disappeared, and now only its memory remains, where fiction and magic plunge into a constant drip of theatrical deceptions. Appearing cups, restless coins in pockets and spoons sprouting from sleeves create a stage game full of poetry, humour and mystery.

In Gota, we discover a visual universe in which the charm does not come from the trick alone, but from the way it is brought to life on stage. Object manipulation, physical theatre and comedy in a silence that speaks through a poetic, sensitive and mischievous language. The search is for something that becomes a symbol of life: a glass of water.

This show has received the 2026 MAX Award for Best Street Show, the 2026 FETEN Award for Best Street Show, and was a finalist for the 2025 Critics’ Awards for Best Family Show.
