CORTA EL CABLE ROJO — The Most Explosive Comedy

Auditorium Palma — Sala Magna, Av. Gabriel Roca, 18, 07014 Palma, Illes Balears

Corta el Cable Rojo is an improvisational comedy show. Its aim is to make audiences laugh out loud with humour created in the moment and based on suggestions from the audience.

There are several improv groups and many stand-up comedians in Spain. What makes this show unique is that the actors who created Corta el Cable Rojo are both: comedians and improvisers. As comedians, all three have extensive stage experience and create their own monologues. As improvisers, they are trained to create interesting scenes from a phrase, a place or a character.

During their performances, the audience marvels at their quick wit and laughs at their constant comic inventions.

Corta el Cable Rojo. Spain’s funniest comedy show. Its fourteenth successful season on Madrid’s Gran Vía. From the projections to the live music, everything complements the hilarious performance of three brilliant comedians. A show that will make you laugh from the moment you enter the theatre until you leave. Surprising and daring humour that, thanks to word of mouth, is revolutionising the theatre listings.

With 14 consecutive successful seasons and counting, on Madrid’s Gran Vía, Corta el Cable Rojo is the longest-running and most firmly established show in the country’s theatre golden mile. Its nonexistent yet daring script, original concept, constant novelty and irresistible humour have made audiences burst out laughing and continue to put their trust in this unique improvisational show.

You only need to wait for the audience to leave to see the consequences of having attended the funniest improvisational theatre in their smiles. Word of mouth, excellent ratings on ticketing websites and the “sold out” sign every week are another reflection of Corta el Cable Rojo’s success.
