A place where you can stay

Written by Toni Oliver and Biel Lladó

Cell 8, based on real events, takes us deep into the workings of the judicial system.

Three offences, three detainees, three stories.

An ordinary driver, a citizen like you, is arrested by the Local Police following a traffic accident and ends up locked in the cells.

24 intense hours. 24 hours he will never forget.

A fast-paced, dynamic play, written with respect for the victims, the police and the offenders themselves.

A drama with touches of humour, 100% social in nature, whose aim is to show the audience the immediate consequences of committing an offence, taking them to the very heart of a police cell from the moment of admission until they are brought before the judge.

Alcoholism, drug addiction and gender-based violence. Three types of behaviour that push people to live on the edge.
