After a period devoted to creation and recording, Cap Pela presents Morgan, their new album, in a concert that combines memory, tradition and new musical perspectives.

The album’s title comes from an image that is both simple and evocative. Parrots can retain the voices they hear, repeat them and eventually incorporate them as their own. Morgan, the parrot associated with Víctor Uris, thus becomes a perfect metaphor for this project: the songs and voices that have accompanied us do not disappear, but continue travelling, transforming and taking on new life in those who make them their own. Each piece thereby becomes a small shared musical inheritance.

With an extensive career as an a cappella vocal ensemble, Cap Pela has developed a highly personal sound and approach to music over the years, based both on reinterpreting traditional repertoire and on creating new works. In Morgan, the group continues to explore the connection between what we have received and who we are today, bringing past and present together through the voice.

The concert takes us through pieces such as “So de pastera” and “L’amo de Son Carabassa”, alongside original compositions such as “Potser un dia” and “Mar”, and songs such as “Morgan Blues”. A repertoire that makes the voice the guiding thread of a journey through memories, roots and new creations.
