Structured in four chapters and an epilogue, the piece combines the words and performances of Toni Gomila and Queralt Albinyana with the sound world created live by Marcel Cranc to explore one of the great tragedies of our time: the humanitarian catastrophe in the Mediterranean and the people who lose their lives there while trying to reach Europe. Three artists with distinctive forms of expression engage in dialogue to offer an aesthetic, emotional and critical perspective on the Mediterranean: its life, its borders and its deaths.

Without lyricism or moralising speeches, Ubi Pisces Moriuntur invites the audience to face a reality we often prefer to keep at a distance.
