Six diverse perspectives on sexuality that combine autofiction and documentary theatre.

Human skin is made of pores and wrinkles; of memories, pleasures and scars. Skin can be caressed, it can be bitten, and it can also be read, like a photo album preserving a past full of victories and defeats, desires and resistance.

Six people take the stage. Three young people. Three older people. Although perhaps labels do not matter.

From a research laboratory, and through a video camera, they try to answer questions that never seem to be fully resolved: what is desire, how is pleasure constructed, where do identity and orientation come from, what lights and shadows accompany the way we love and inhabit the body, how does sexuality change with age… Over the decades. How the discourse and the gaze change.

Each one shares their story. Their skin. Their sense of humour. Their way of experiencing sexuality.

Human skin, spread out on a flat surface, covers approximately two square metres. On stage, there are twelve square metres of skin.

• WORKSHOP: In connection with this show, on 2, 3 and 4 December we are organising the workshop "Biting One’s Tongue" in the Sala Petita. A laboratory for the community to explore the experience of sexuality through time and culture using the performing arts. No previous theatre experience is required. For young people aged 18 to 26 and people over 60. More information in the workshops section.
