Reading Promotion Workshop

This workshop will help nurture a love of reading, encourage children to enjoy reading and help them develop the habit of reading.

Reading is one of the most powerful strategies for developing children’s linguistic intelligence, the foundation of cognitive, emotional and social intelligence.

The aim is to create a family environment where verbal communication, storytelling and an interest in books are lovingly encouraged—even before children are old enough to learn to read—as this promotes motivation, reading comprehension and effective reading, all of which are key to schoolwork.

In addition, a child who reads will be more sensitive and empathetic, and better able to think, express themselves and write.
