Teatre Principal — Sala Petita - Polivalente, Carrer de la Riera, 2, 07003 Palma, Illes Balears
A literary concert revolving around amorous desire.
Litteros is a performance halfway between a concert and a sonic dialogue, in which medieval and contemporary texts are used to construct a soundscape where music and words blur their identities and merge into a single expression: the sound distilled by amorous desire. A piano and electronic resources at the service of improvisation, together with monody, emerge from the interaction with two actors transformed into instruments.
“What is the sound of eros and love in our language? What does the Ars Amatoria that already intrigued the Roman poet Ovid sound like in Catalan?”... These questions are the driving force behind Litteros.
