Jaume Anglada — Thirty Years Later, at the Principal
- Palma

Teatre Principal — Sala Gran, Carrer de la Riera, 2, 07003 Palma, Illes Balears
The singer and songwriter celebrates 30 years of his career, looking back at his music and his best songs.
Jaume Anglada considers himself a lucky musician, but it takes tenacity and talent to build and maintain a long career like his. Hundreds of songs and ten albums tell the story of a boy who would shut himself away in his room to listen to Sam Cooke and Lou Reed records, and who started out playing the saxophone before discovering the guitar not long afterwards. His best travelling companion, with which he has performed on stages all over the country, and which he never had—and still has no—intention of letting go.
Music is the passion of this songwriter, who was born in Palma and also faced his first live audience there more than 30 years ago. More than a quarter of a century later, Jaume still has the same energy, enthusiasm and desire.
Now, after more than a year of an enforced break, Anglada returns to his most coveted stage, the Teatre Principal de Palma. The theatre in his city, where he always dreamed of seeing his name displayed on the façade. On 7 November, he wants to share thirty years of anecdotes and songs from the stage. It will undoubtedly be more than just a concert.
