Alternatilla Jazz Band #10 — Closing concert of the festival’s tenth edition

Teatre Principal — Sala Gran, Carrer de la Riera, 2, 07003 Palma, Illes Balears

Seven musicians, ten years of the festival and a unique ensemble created to celebrate Alternatilla Jazz’s international spirit.

The festival celebrates its tenth edition with a closing concert conceived as one of its emblematic ménage à jazz events: an ensemble created expressly for the festival, where musicians from different backgrounds come together to share a stage, a language and improvisation.

For this anniversary edition, the festival does not focus on a single guest country, but brings together the influence of the territories that have shaped its previous nine editions. The result is a top-level multinational ensemble featuring Dado Moroni, Perico Sambeat, Ariel Brínguez, Jean-Paul Estiévenart, Jesse van Ruller, Marko Lohikari and Joan Casares.

Seven highly distinctive musicians for a night conceived as a celebration, a crossroads and the grand finale of Alternatilla Jazz Festival #10. The Sala Gran at Palma’s Teatre Principal will host this anniversary closing event: a gathering that brings together ten years of jazz, cultural exchange, creative risk and dialogue between scenes.
