Al Di Meola Acoustic Trio. Jazz Voyeur Festival

Teatre Principal d'Inca — Main Hall, Carrer del Teatre, 10, 07300 Inca, Balearic Islands

The Jazz Voyeur Festival comes to Inca for the first time with Al Di Meola

The Jazz Voyeur Festival, one of the leading jazz events in the Balearic Islands, is adding the Teatre Principal d'Inca as a new festival venue this year. Through this collaboration, the festival is expanding its reach across the island and bringing one of the great figures of contemporary music to Inca: Al Di Meola.

For this first event, it presents the Al Di Meola Acoustic Trio, formed by Al Di Meola, Peo Alfonsi and Sergio Martínez. The concert offers a journey through the most representative compositions of an exceptional career, bringing together jazz, fusion, Mediterranean music, flamenco, tango and Latin rhythms, performed with the rapport and virtuosity of one of the most outstanding acoustic ensembles on the international scene.

Considered one of the great guitarists of our time, Al Di Meola has built an international career spanning more than four decades, making him an essential figure in jazz, fusion, world music and acoustic guitar. With more than six million records sold, several gold and platinum records, multiple Grammy nominations and numerous international awards, he has collaborated with seminal artists such as Return to Forever, Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Paco de Lucía, Stanley Clarke and Jean-Luc Ponty. His extraordinary technique, combined with great melodic sensitivity and sophisticated rhythmic richness, has made him one of the leading figures in contemporary guitar.

This version also conveys a powerful institutional idea: it is not only that Al Di Meola is coming; the Jazz Voyeur Festival is also coming to Inca for the first time, which brings value both to the festival and to the Teatre Principal.
