Acorar Without Limits — By Toni Gomila, an Inclusive Version
- Palma

Teatre Principal — Sala Gran, Carrer de la Riera, 2, 07003 Palma, Balearic Islands
A review of the Balearic theatre’s most iconic production of the last 15 years, in an inclusive version.
“Everyone has seen Acorar.” Is this statement true? No. We are celebrating 15 years of Acorar and 5 years of Apropa Cultura Balears with one aim: for everyone who wishes to do so to be able to enjoy the show. We have revisited the production first staged in 2011 with a universal approach that incorporates accessibility services into the artistic creation as another dramatic layer. The Acorar of always, now for everyone.
Starting from a day of pig slaughter, a tiny domestic incident, Acorar invites us to reflect. To think about what makes our community still exist. To value, through the concrete, what has defined us until now as Mallorcans: our language, traditions, character... In short, a call to the most intimate reflection on the collective identity of a people that is universal.
This project has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of Teatre Principal de Palma, Produccions de Ferro, Apropa Cultura and AcciĂł Social de CaixaBank through FundaciĂł la Caixa, with the collaboration of Coordinadora Balear de Persones amb Discapacitat, FederaciĂł de Persones Sordes de les Illes Balears, ASPAS, ONCE and FundaciĂł per a persones amb discapacitat de Menorca.
