Major arguments often start over something silly: an extra word said in the wrong tone, or stretching the final vowel of an apparently harmless sentence just a little too long.

And when this happens between siblings in the context of a family gathering, the chances that the evening will turn into something more than a pleasant get-together are very high.

Anything can happen between siblings. Often, the present and the past are one and the same, and every shade of emotion is present in their relationship. Their bond is like a time bomb that can explode for the most insignificant of reasons.

As one of the characters in this family comedy says, “the same blood runs through their veins and they are irredeemably bound together, condemned to be part of one another despite all the quarrels and endless arguments. Because, whether they like it or not, they share a deep and ancient feeling connected to the mystery of life, and they cannot free themselves from it.”
